Affordable Pricing
At BOD Counselling, we believe that everyone should have access to supportive, compassionate mental health care. Our pricing reflects this commitment to affordability.
Sessions are £35 for a 50-minute appointment, with a concession rate of £25 for clients aged 18 and under, helping to ensure support is available when it’s needed most.
Individual Sessions
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
At BOD Counselling, we recognise that every individual’s journey is unique, and the number of sessions needed will vary from person to person. Most clients find that an initial block of around six sessions provides a solid foundation for exploring their challenges and beginning to make meaningful progress. After these first six sessions, we will review your goals together and decide whether continuing therapy would be helpful.
For some people, a shorter course of around three sessions can be enough to gain clarity or develop strategies for a specific issue. Others may benefit from longer-term support, depending on the depth and complexity of what they are working through. There is no one-size-fits-all approach—we will always tailor the process to your individual needs.
Session Frequency
While weekly sessions are generally recommended to maintain momentum and support emotional processing, we understand that this may not always be realistic due to work, finances, health, or other personal commitments. At BOD Counselling, we will work with you to find a frequency that feels manageable and supportive, ensuring therapy remains accessible rather than overwhelming.
Maintenance Sessions
Once your initial work is complete and you feel confident in the progress you’ve made, you may choose to continue with maintenance sessions. These are designed to offer continued support as you consolidate changes, navigate new challenges, or simply check in with your emotional wellbeing.
Maintenance appointments can be arranged fortnightly, monthly, or at intervals that best suit your needs, offering flexibility while still providing a consistent, grounding space.
